Wildheart Yoga

“My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.” - Dalai Lama

Come and experience true nature connection, and connection with mind and body under the trees or indoors.

Held outdoors, deep in the woods at the lovely Heartwood, or indoors at South Croydon Sports Club and Addiscombe Catholic Church, Suzy from Wildheart Yoga is offering regular Yoga sessions for those who wish to connect more deeply with nature, whilst moving and opening up their bodies with a beautiful yoga practice.

These classes are gentle, yet robust, nurturing and gently working to bring body and mind into union and balance. Suitable for anyone at any stage on the path, Suzy can tailor the sessions to the needs of the individuals attending. If you are new, we go slow, if you have an established practice you will be offered opportunities to move more deeply in your asanas.

There will also be season specific pranayama (breath work) practices offered as part of the experience, and sometimes Yoga Nidra. If you'd like to sign up, you can contact Suzy here:

About Wildheart Yoga

Our yoga facilitator Suzy is the founder of Go Wild With Us UK, and in 2018 started her yoga training after a lifetime's connection with yoga and over 15 years of dedicated personal practice - mainly in the Iyengar tradition with Bernadette Corrigan - and living a yogic lifestyle.

She became qualified in early 2019 via a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified course with the wonderful 'Live Love Yoga'Like a great tree, Suzy's teaching style is deeply influenced by the roots of Hatha yoga, and the eight limbs of Raja yoga.

Her classes have a strong focus on alignment and gentle holds of asanas, however she also loves to gently free flow and experiment with ways of connecting the body and mind with the breath.  You will find a light-heartedness in her teaching style and will also often find the quiet influences of Yoga Nidra in the classes.

A lifelong advocate of working in nature to reconnect people of all ages with their natural environment, she is thankful to be able to offer folk ways to rediscover their connection and presence with their body and mind through yoga.

Although most of her regular classes take place indoors at various locations in Croydon,  the yoga will always be rooted in the ancient rhythms of nature, with themes emerging which reflect the seasons, and which provide the container and context in which we live our lives.
